Update:
On 17th October both the plans mentioned below were approved. Plan 2013/04225/PA would be our preferred option for the site. This plan will also bring significant benefits to the ward in terms of planning benefits (Section 106 funding).

Plans have been submitted for a further set of flats at the Hospital end of the Elliott Rd Industrial Estate site. While we are still evaluating these plans we hope that the development will complement the proposed development of the former Selly Oak Hospital on the adjacent site. Let us know your thought on this proposal here (Planning application number 2013/04225/PA) and don't forget to comment to BCC on the plans if you have concerns.

The same company have, and now want to extend planning permission for student residences on this site. We propose to object to the extension of that permission (application 2013/06055/PA to extend approval for 2010/01277/PA).
